How do I equip Blink Strike and use it?

I am playing with mouse and keyboard. When I press Left Ctrl, it pulls up the primary skills menu, but no skill is listed. Under "Status" it says that I know the skill "Blink Strike". I am a Fighter as my vocation.

What am I missing or not understanding?

You should have this skill equipped from the start, on the first slot (LMB by default).

If you don't (somehow) or want to assign it somewhere else find one of the NPCs that allow learning and managing skills (all NPCs who offer resting do this, except Pablos). Pick Set Skills option during interaction and assign a skill to one of the slots in the Sword section.

BTW You need to have some sword equipped to use respecive skills, naturally.

Thanks! I will try to find an NPC to do this. So strange that it is not equipped by default.

Almost every allied location has one such NPC: the Encampment, Gran Soren, all 3 rest camps (Devilfire Grove, Windworn Valley and Greatwall Encampment) and Bitteblack Isle (harbor).

So...just for clarity, is this the only way to equip and unequip skills/augments. I tried repeatedly to set skills within the Status menu to no avail. It was a little frustrating.

You can only manage skills at specific NPCs.
