Place Portcrystals (these are rare) as markers anywhere in the world. You can warp between those using ypur Freeystone. You can also pick them back up and place them somewhere else if you like.
Pawn Guild, Everfall basement - start a quest but you don't need to finish to acquire it.
Hillfigure Knoll - inside the little cave nook where the Dragonforged sits.
The Shadowfort - inside a cell in the basement.
Witchwood - requires quest called "Witch Hunt" to access.
Bluemoon Tower - requires quest called "Griffins Bane" to access.
Portcrystals can be placed anywhere in the overworld and then teleported to upon using a ferrystone. There are also three permanent Portcrystals already in game, at Gran Soren, Cassardis and Bitterblack Isle.
You can find them again in New Game plus, as well as buying more from Montebank for 200,000 each. I think you can have 10 placed in the world at any one time - not sure if the three permenant ones count against the 10, though.
Oh wow that's great, thanks.
