My game crashes when I enter character selection.

This has been happening since I've downloaded the game, I would start up the game normally and from it's own file. It would run normally until I go to the character selection and suddenly stopped and crashes. The message that comes up is " A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a silution is available." It happens every single time and I've tright using both patches 1 and 2 but they both lead to the same thing. Does anyone else have this issue or if you know of the solution? Because it would be very helpful to have the game work so I can play with a good friend of mine. Oh and might I add that the download for this game took about 9+ hours to get it finished and I don't want to go through that again unless it's my only option left. It might be my computer that has the issue, but I want any opinion I can get on this.

Just found a way to solve it, if you download RH from the official site, And replace the files you downloaded from steam with the files you downloaded from the official site, it should work. You'll get some other features like Raptr which installs along with it, but you can delete that. Also, use patch 2, because I heard patch 1 no longer works, so basically, just delete the files under program files (x86)/steam/ steamapps/ common/ Rusty hearts, and replace those with the files you downloaded from internet. Just let the patch stuff do its work, I didn't get any errors this time, and it should be fine. Hope this helps
