Bake an animation into place?
hello all o/ just curious about the process of baking an animation into place so it can then be moved as an object in that shape, such as if you're making a bag using clothe physics and you get it into the shape you'd like at the 100 frames mark, I assume you would then bake the animation or something similar to keep it that way so you can then export it as its own object in that way but i've never done anything like that and not sure how you go about doing it. any help is much appreciated

If you want to bake keyframes of animated objects: Object -> Animation -> Bake Action.

If you want to bake rigid body physics: Object -> Rigid Body -> Apply transformation, then remove the Rigid Body property from the Physics tab to turn the object back into a regular mesh.

If you want to freeze animated cloth in place: move to the keyframe you want to keep, go to the modifiers tab and apply the cloth modifier.
