Tom Clancy's The Division

Tom Clancy's The Division

100% Cpu usage
Hello,

Does anyone else have an issue with the CPU running at 100% constantly? This is causing stuttering which is even worse when I enable sli. I have tried different suggestions like disabling a core or two and changing the priority to low in the task manager but nothing helps. I average about 80fps on the default ultra setting with vsync disabled with sli enabled but with 100% cpu usage and 75-98% gpu usage.

Im hoping that someone who has had this issue has found a solution because its frustrating to enjoy a game so much but be stuttering 99% of the time.

We have the same CPU I don't have this problem it looks like you overclocked it since the stock is just 3.8ghz I recommend that you set it to default and try again.

Actually I just checked an its running at 3.8ghz which is stock
If you happen to use logitech gaming software close it.
It is one of the reasons cpu usage spikes to 100% sounds dumb but it fixed my issue.

Edit: This is a seperate issue then the LED keyboard support ingame that also causes issues if u have that option on as well turn it off.

I am using a G402 with that software installed and no ,thats does not happening to me, well you can check CPU usage via the task manager and see what application is eating up the resources.

Who knows you may have a virus...

Might be just because of the keyboard then im using a Logitech G19 and The Division adds a custom profile for it whenever i play the game it auto switches to this profile and drops atleast 30 FPS due to 100% cpu spike and causes stutters.

I exit the software, my cpu usage returns to normal and i get my fps back so something is causing conflicts.

Anyway if op is using a logitech keyboard give it a go

I am not using a logitech keyboard or any type of logitech software. I do have a razer naga but i dont think its the razer software. Ill try and check if anything is over using my cpu other than the division tomorrow.

Lower objects detail and extra steaming distance , u are good to go
Yes its kinda bug (fullscreen - borderless), if u got fps drop ALT+ENTER fix it.
Beta was fine.

I have tried this almost immediately after getting the game because I've seen how it affects fps in games like WOW. My fps increases but my cpu is still at 100%.

Basically it doesnt matter what my graphics settings are because even on low im getting cpu spikes from 90-100% and it just alternates back and forth causing the stuttering

Try checking if your drivers are installed properly or reintsall it. i had the same problem and reinstalling the drivers works for me.

Beta was like 10% of the game. People need to learn to get off this, "beta was fine" badwagon because you sound ridiculous.

When you say my drivers do you mean my graphics drivers? I have clean installed those a couple of times already.

I mean it is stock in a sense because the processor automatically boosts to 3.8ghz. I could try downclocking to 3.4ghz but i dont know this will help
try to overclocked your cpu to 4.4Ghz your cpu should be able to and should run the game smooth.
