Spear Wall successful -> Moral Check triggered anyways
From time to time my guys lose morale when a spearwall kept an enemy from surrounding them. Leads me to believe that a moral check gets triggered even though the spear kept the enemy away.

Yep, I hope this is a bug and will be fixed. It can also affect bros standing next to spearwall user.

Not a bug; a spearwall doesn't make you immune to the effects of morale.

But shouldn't the moral only decrease if the character actually does get surrounded?

Yea.. if a guy is closing in and I repel him with a spear to the gut, my morale is going to increase.. not decrease

This is absolutely ridiculous. If a guy sees the guy next to him repelling enemies, he should get braver, not scared.
