Chosen maces can 2 shot headshot 80hp, but if you make it a bit safer with a bit more than 80hp (colossus on a hedgeknight/farmhand/lumberjack/brawler does the trick) you can avoid a 2 shot, and yes there are posts you can search for where people compare the numbers for different perks, hp thresholds, and vs Nimble as well.
And I’m pretty sure that lindwurm head attacks can’t one shot a 300/320 80+hp forge as well as normal, non-champion chosen 2h hammers and other.
I calculated some max rolled 2H weapons and most dangerous foe vs 300/320/AFP/no steel brow is 2H hammer hedge knight/executioner champion. They may deal up to 180 head damage with perfectly rolled weapon and attack. So 120 from Turtle is probably with steel brow included.
But steel brow without AFP is not enough. Barbarian king champion may hit for 123 damage with his famed axe against bro with steel brow but without fur padding.
Awesome - thanks! I will not let anyone except tanks go near them - unless I can close in to get the kill! ;)
I meant just generic enemy types. And yes, I am extra careful with Champions.
Yeah, I put AFP on all Battle Forged characters now.
To the question specifically, I believe Chain Berserkers have the greatest one-shot potential in the game of non-champion units, at least to high armor Forge bros with AFP that do not have Brow.
That's why 90-100+ HP and brow are meta on BF bros
Well, now I know! ;)
Well, I play Ironman, so I can't have an RnG fail though. And I know whole lot about RnG fails - both in games and in real-life.
Now let's calculate average damage. Average damage is 75. Add 20 skill damage and 20% berserk bonus and that turns into 114. Armour damage will be 98 after BF and penetration damage will be 114*0.6 = 68. It will be reduced by 20 with helmet and final damage will be 48. With head hit bonus that's 72. So with 12% chance your bro will receive headshot with average 72 damage.
In our elementary school field day in Korea, small natural gas tanks contained in a mini-truck exploded - literally right next to the school gate. The driver, lucky guy, was out and getting himself lunch or drinks or what not. A lady who was just about passing through the gate (whom both me and my mom knew), uh, was blown to smithereens. You rarely see human carcass in this type of disintegration. I've seen a lot of war zone dead corpses (via books and videos); and none remotely compared to this.
This was so traumatic and impressed me from a very early age that human life is tethered together by RnG - good and bad :(
