Report a translation problem
The devs stated the reasons for that decision in this announcement:

I that case i dont got "money" to pay a game to waste "time" making a translation when i play
By the way there is tons of fan translators out there like in other games can help
But is a developer choice dont make more sales because this.
That's not what they say. They say they can't recoup the money spend translating the game. Having seen invoices from professional translation agencies in the office I can guess translating BB in any language would be about 50.000 euro (Per language.)
That means they have to sell about 2.500 - 3.500 (? - dont know how much profit is garnered from a sale after Steam takes it's cut) copies just to break even. BB being a niche game I don't really see that happening.
Fan translations sounds nice but you'd have to be a very skilled and dedicated fan and linguist to translate a 250.000+ words game.
like clanDlan here in Spain with a lot of games translated (mora than 250.000 lines) like all the Baldurs Gate Icewind Dale kotor 1-2 etc
There are more than only financial reasons, also technical reasons in how some of the texts are generated from different text pieces, which works fine for English grammar, but will not work when you simply tranlate all the English words into a different language.
i thought there are some fan translation projects for russian and some other languages.
i dont search for fan translations at the moment
thanks for the info
Who peed in op's coffee though? What a whiner.
