Can we have for all factions good Escorts like Orc Savage ship.
Can we have for all factions good Escorts like Orc Savage ship.

Well by orcs its simple, lost all ships, so what spam some battles this ships,
you have a pretty good chance to win and can have a lot fo fun if these Piranhas eat up enemy ships.

So if your fleet is damaged badly,
you can just do some rounds with this ones and go back to your repaired or lost in warp fleet.

Why not simply give each faction this kind of ships ?

The question is do each faction have similar type of ships in the lore and in the board game because this game uses a license and they cant simplay invent new ship types for the factions.

If each faction in the lore have similar ships than the only barrier is the will of the developer but if not each faction have similar ships in the lore than this is an impossible idea because they would not be allowed to add them.

Thank you i will read that thing with much interest :) and i know that the board game is turn based but the lore of 40k itselve is only backround information so the fact that this game is not turn based dont allowed them to add new things into it. :)

Space hulk deathwing is also not turn based but they still are not allowed to add none boardgame things into the game.

At the end of the day the things you are allowed to add into an 40k game depends on the type of license you bought. For example a space hulk license only contains the board games stuff and not the whole 40k possibilities the same is with an battlefleet gothic license.

the issue with other esorts is not that they are not good enough, it is that they cost too much compared to the ork escorts. At the same time though esorts take carful use to be made most effective. I try to use any i take as extra dps and it has to pretty much be the last ship to die if im losing

edit: space marines and tau have escorts that can fire homing missiles / boarding torpedos from the far corner of the map all game long so those are pretty good

Surprisingly, one of the Eldar's escort ships ended up being impressively horrifying en masse. It's the one that has like 15x of it's weapon. As a large swarm, it's a crippling amount of constand fire. I've actually done far better with a blob of these than using any of the normal Eldar ships, but then, I'm bad at Eldar.

Oh yeah i love doing that the helbore is also very strong damage wise fotr an esort but takes a ron of micro

Well the Pulsar Eldar and this seeker Missile from Tau and boarding torpedoes from Marines are good too.

But that's in, in the entire game we have nothing else that can be called reliable.

I don't see here any problem to add here close range gunships for other factions.
I never had a problem to take down Savage escort spam, you just ram down them.
Or as range player you take them easy one by one.

The point is lost in warp and destroyed ship needs 2 round to regenerate.
So take good escorts could be a good Idea for people who do loose sometimes.

I find the humble Sword class to be a pretty good ship. In games it has surprised me by tying up larger ships for a while or by causing critical damage to much larger ships because players ignore them for too long.

Idk, i find IN Sword and Firestorm frigates to be more than adequate for their price. Just choose them depending on what enemy you fight.
Cobra destroyers are decent if you want better torpedo screen with some direct combat capability.
Widowmakers are just priceless support vessels for scouting.
