Please remove the DISCORD icon in the main menu

I respect the community and I know this is ultimately a community project, but having a big DISCORD button in the main menu just kills the immersion and doesn't feel Half-Life at all.

I'm in no ways trying to downplay the presence of the community, but it shouldn't be THERE.

How does it kill the immersion? I really dont understand that...you literally see it for a couple of seconds before pressing resume and youre back in the game. It is not like the discord button is in the pause menu or anywhere on your HUD.

I don't think they should have to remove it, but I totally see your point and it was the first thing I noticed too. But since it don't affect the gameplay or anything, I don't mind it.

Thank you, I don't get why people would come in just to tell me it DOESN'T bother them.

It's the same thing with people shouting "well my game works fine" when you say you encountered a game breaking glitch.

I just use the old Black Mesa menu. Could just be nostalgia bias since I finished Black Mesa Source with the 2012 beta but I find the default menu kinda ♥♥♥♥, since it so flat, like baby's first UI project, no offense. The minimalistic Half Life 2 styled UI is just so much more pleasing to me.
