Hat, Pizza, End of Interloper? Question

I think I am near the end if Interloper. I am where the grunt pods are on conveyor belts that drop onto the jump pads and get sucked up. That is where we reach a blue force field.

1) Are there more Random Number Generated situations after this area?
I will keep trying to get both items through if future situations more so require skill than 1:~1,000,000 chance.

2) Is it possible to some how get the hat to remain on the ledge and be able to fall back down for the 2nd item?
One time I had the hat on the ledge and I was back in the wind tunnel yet a few minutes of trying to move around had me thinking there was an invisible barrier stopping me from going back down. I have gone back down other times but the hat wasn't on the ledge those times.

I have watched a video from 'Just Chill' launching a grenade to blow the Pizza Box into the room/vent. However this video was 4 years ago and I am hoping some other legitimate methods might have been found.
Anyone?

1) No.
You are actually at the WORST part when it comes to gettin' both items through.
If you achieved that things will go easier.

When it comes to the video of me launching a grenade, I really doubt it was the nade that did the trick here.
It was simply pure luck that the Pizza got touched by some grunt pods and then thrown into the tunnel.

There are other methods though.

I had not the skill to achieve that, so I purely trusted on my gaming luck in this place.

It took me around a full week of playtime to get this outcome, so I cannot recommend it.

If you manage to steer your Gordon like shown in the video, I recommend doing it that way.
You obviously also enhance your skill when train to get both items into the force field with steering around in thin air. :D
