Modding bullsquid results cache issue
I dont know if this was happening before but upon attempting change the bullsquid sounds, i noticed the attack sounds werent playing.
Checking the console outputs this error:

"SV_StartSound: npc/bullsquid/goo_attack1.wav not precached (0)"

I've tried messing with the vpk's cache and obviously snd_restart didnt do anything, i can only find this problem done with l4d stuff, where you have to rebuild the sound cache but i cant find any command like that for black mesa

For what it's worth, I have the -exact- same problem (though I am unsure if any of my mods affect the bullsquid). I'm clearing out my modlist and doing a verification of cache/integrity files to see if that fixes it.

I've also posted the question in the "modding-workshop" section of the BM Discord server. I don't know if this is a known bug, or a mod issue -- or something else.

I've discovered it isnt an issue with the mod, if it is the mod is causing the cache itself to break, as even removing the mod doesnt help you need to delete all .cache files in the black mesa folder and it works for one launch, but launching it again the issue will start again

Yup, deleted the .cache files from my root \bms directory and reverifying seems to have permanently fixed my issue.

However, I do not have any mods for the Bullsquid's sounds presently, but if I change anything I'll report back here.
Having this issue even after veryfying the files. Anyone managed to fix it?
^ Be sure you delete anything with a ".cache" file extension in your bms directory. Default would be something like this on Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bms

Please tell me you managed to fix it, I'm going nuts trying to myself. I did the cache file deletion thing, still getting no sounds
