Thank you Black Mesa Devs
And congratulations. You remade Half-Life and it's better than the original (in my opinion). I just wanna say thanks for the great game and congratulations on finishing this after 15 years.

Yes, Crowbar Collevtive really did an amazing work. It's nice to see posts like this, because usually these guys don't get a lot of love here, it's mostly complaints, which is, well, understandable, i just wish people were more polite to them.

Yes a marvellous job! Initially I wanted to downvote the whole game after the casserole exploded after just one button push. But apart from being beautiful, they did a tremendous job on the Xen levels, especially given the puzzles and that they are exactly not too easy and not too hard. Level design is also superb.

They took very courageous decisions regarding the new enemies and I think they got them all right. The HEVombie with its dying HEV suit sound made me immediately look at my own health (ingenious). The floornacles are also a clever complement to the barnacles.

Most earthbound levels were shortened, but kept key moments, which is another job well done.
The only downers are, the missing of the pattern-teaching-mechanism in On A Rail and Questionable Ethics and that Snarks are utterly useless due to the ultra accurate AI.
#Oh, and it is a Linux game! :steamhappy:

I remember when Black Mesa was a fan-made mod for Half-Life with a huge DL in dial-up dayz... it was brilliant back then. Imagine my joy when it took it's place inside Steam and nothing has changed... it is still Brilliant!

Thank you all for your dedication to remaking a great game into a better one.

HL 2 is next??

Thank you BM fellas, you did outstanding job that exceeded my expectations! (Thought one part of mine wanted you guys to do ex packs too but there is another studio developing those)

Crowbar Collective brought a classic game to the newer engine and restored it to a great and wonderfully re-imagined version that not only met any expectations I had but went far beyond them.

Thank you Crowbar collective for your long suffering labor of love you have brought to all of us

Sadly, Valve should taken a leaf from Crowbar Collective and find the love and passion again for their OWN game.

If I had any power to do so I would love for Crowbar Collective to be handed the torch for finishing Half-Life 2 EP 3.

Still to this day It pains me they left ALL of us hanging and waiting for something that will never come and finally after years of waiting we get a prequel for VR.

Again thank you for all your hard work!!!!!!!

First time I played this game, I was immediately in love. I love it more than HL2, more than HL1, more than any other game I've played. It's my #1 game, and it also happens to be indie. That's incredible to me. How a group of fans could make the perfect game is beyond me. Thank you, CC. I'll be following you guys very closely from here on out.

Heck yeah! Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, bringing us what is sure to remain a timeless classic, and a shining example of what a remake/reimagining is capable of being.
