XWAUPGRADE Slo-mo blob heavy lasers

Is this a feature specific to the XWAUPGRADE?
The heavy lasers from capital ships seem to go slower than photon torpedoes...
It's really funny looking and not "star warsy".
Is this in the vanilla version? I dont remember it looking so silly back in the day.

I bought this the other day and installed the upgrade before playing.
Is there any way to edit just the heavy laser effects to move faster and not be such huge blob-beams?

There is! If you use one of the tools on darksabers x-wing station you can edit ship files and the weapons.

Just one word of warning do not increase the speed of the lasers to past those of the smallest ones.... if you do it can really throw off the aim and make the ships miss targets entierly by overaiming.


Ether that or you can go with the small laser option when installing the craft pack!
