A Note for Windows 8 Users

Attention Windows 8.1 x64 Users:

During development and testing, it’s come to our attention that there are some very important Windows KB updates for this version of the Operating System. Instead of including the 800MB for all users, we instead wrote this supplemental information Article.

How to check if you have the KB installed

If you keep up-to-date with your Windows Updates you should be all set! But, in case you haven’t, you can check if this is installed when you go into "Add Remove Programs" in Windows 8.1. Along the left side, there’s a feature to view your "Installed Windows Updates." This list is pretty long, but if you are able to see KB2919355 (800 megs) and KB2919442 (about 10 megs), then you’re good to go!

Where do I download these?

If you don't have these, here are the Microsoft links for the two System Updates we are referring to.

NOTE: Even though the KB number is newer, this one should be installed first

yep im in the same boat I stayed up late just to start playing pre-paid 6 or 7 weeks ago and did the pre-install 2 days ago ..... feeling a bit bumed out dudes

It's kind of weird thing - today I was able to lauch the game and even play it for about an hour. But then game crashed - when I tried to lauch it again - nothing happens (the menu with start game and oprtion appears - but when I press start - it launches and immmediately closes with no errors), please provide a fix for this asap!

The mouse is not exclusive on windowed mode, it keeps going to Windows Taskbar!

Hi, I am using Windows 10 and i start the Game i've got an eight core with 16gb ram and a gaming graka but every time i would like to start the game my computer crashed... i can see the opening video and the burning scene and than..crash... what can i do?!...
