Ffx pc remastered crash (unsolved)
FFX was working flawlessly for me until I attempted to enter basaid village for the first time. Then it changes to the black screen and crashes without warning.

Yeah, it works fine. Solid 30 fps on lowest settings, just crashing at this spot.

Nothing else is running, I figured that out years ago. I'll verify the cache as soon as I can, no Wi-Fi till Friday :/

Have you tried lowering the texture quality? I run on a different device, but if my textures are on "high", my game crashes occasionally when there's a cut-scene coming up. Doesn't happen if I have textures on "Medium". Could also try lowering other graphics. (Other graphics settings accessable by hitting "Escape" in-game.)

Then again, it could also be something totally different, so someone more knowledgeable may have a better / optimal answer!

[EDIT: As an added note, even when the game crashes, if it auto-saved, if may just pick up back where it was anyway. I sometimes run the risk of high-graphics and rely on that, or lower the graphics when I know a scene-cut is coming up.]

Well i had a problem myslef not too long ago. what it was is i would get a cutscence in home and half way through it would crash, turned out it was missing 2 .dat files for soem reason.
