Sorry to hear that when you try to launch Rainbow Six Siege you are advised that Battleye is not installed despite your troubleshooting.
To rule out some common causes of issues I have some tips I would advise trying below:
- Ensure your PC meets all system requirements [www.ubisoft.com] for Siege.
- Ensure you have Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] installed and updated
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive
- Add Ubisoft Connect and the game to your anti-virus/firewall whitelist
- Complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li]
- Launch Ubisoft Connect, Steam and Siege using admin rights [ubi.li] to ensure permissions are granted.
I must also advise that we can only provide support in Steam in English. If you would prefer support in your preferred language then please reach out using the Ubisoft Support site. [support.ubisoft.com]
Any trouble, just let us know
I did everything and the error still persists, from what I saw, in other videos several programs appear in the "battleye" tab in the file explorer, but in mine only one appears, which is "BEservice" and no others.
1. Firstly I'd suggest trying to reinstall BattlEye if you haven't already. You can do this either by reinstalling R6 Siege (this should install the latest version of BattlEye) or by installing it manually.
2. Ensure that no other anti-cheat or security software is interfering with BattlEye. Temporarily disable any other anti-cheat programs and see if that resolves the issue.
3. Perform a clean boot[ubi.li].
4. Add R6 Siege to the exclusion list in Windows Security. Here’s how:
- Close Ubisoft Connect completely from the Task Manager
- Ensure that the launcher and the game are whitelisted within your Antivirus/Firewall (to avoid any conflicts when the client is trying to connect to the servers).
- Open Windows Security.
- Go to Virus & threat protection.
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.
- Scroll down to Exclusions and select Add or remove exclusions.
- Add exclusions for both Ubisoft Connect and the R6 Siege game folder.
5. Whitelist BEService.exe, BEService_r6s.exe, and BEService64.exe in your firewall. These files are located inside the BattlEye folder in the R6 installation folder and in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye.

Please try these steps and let us know if any of them help. If the problem persists, we can continue to explore further options.
