Thank you for kindly reaching out, sorry to hear that you have trouble launching the Siege using DX12.
To rule out some common causes I have some tips I would advise trying below:
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive
- Add Ubisoft Connect and the game to your anti-virus/firewall whitelist
- Complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li]
- Ensure you have Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] installed and updated
Should you have any trouble, just let us know
The game works normally under dx11, especially under Vulkan -
Every other games I've played like For Honor, Ghost Recon Breakpoint etc2 seems to be having no issues to run at all at any presets/settings in any game modes (inc. Singleplayer n Multiplayer)
Everything is updated; I see no point installing the game along the launcher in the same drive but I've done that before and the outcome is still the same, only the DX12 currently won't run at all 😅
You mentioned you have 24gb of Ram, can I check what configuration you have this setup in to ensure they are working in pairs?
We would ask if possible that you install Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] and the game on your C drive as this has helped other players with a similar issue and further helps us understand the cause.
Should you continue to have trouble, it would be really beneficial to take a look at your Dxdiag [support.ubisoft.com] and Msinfo [http//%3D+https] so that we can get a deeper look at the problem.
These files can be attached to a new case[support.ubi.com] so that we can take a look.
Many thanks
Currently running my rig at 24gb ram due to my old ram set got broken for some reason
A1 - 16gb
B1 - 8gb
(Both are running the same brand from Kingston and like I said earlier, any other games - demanding game doesnt seems to have any issue as in no crashes or bluescreen etc2)
I'll try to escalate this issue to the proper channel as it seems this might just be on my end kind of issue for some odd reason
Currently every launcher including Steam and Ubisoft Launcher is in my C drives - while the game is in another ssd drives, but unfortunately I dont have enough space to move the game folder to C drives atm so theres that unfortunately
Closing the apps or basically disable the apps detection via the software itself will fix the crashing issue
If ever we can help with anything else in the future, just let us know
