so you can play borderless and your task bar isnt there? sucks I'm forced to use fullscreen and alt tab to get to my second monitor instead of just pausing

Hey The Sultan of Salt,

Thank you for reaching out, sorry to hear that you can see the task bar when using windowed mode. For full clarity, would it be possible to share with us an image of your video settings so we can see what you see?

Can I also check if you notice any difference if you press Alt and Enter at the same time?

Many thanks

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

I can see it in borderless mode, I don't use "windowed mode" so I don't know if it looks any different to how it always did.

I used to use Borderless, as it would allow me to hit pause, and flick over to my second monitor to use discord or OBS. Now, I can still do that, but the taskbar appears, and sometimes it interferes with my game by opening something etc.

So I've gone back to fullscreen mode, which means I need to "alt-tab" to switch to OBS etc, and that's quite annoying mid game.

How would you like me to send a picture?

To answer your question, "alt-enter" takes me from fullscreen to windowed or vice versa. So it works, however doesn't work with borderless obviously.

Hi The Sultan of Salt,

Thanks for the information provided.

Can you please take a screenshot[support.microsoft.com]to show you have selected borderless mode in the settings, and that shows the taskbar is visible. If you can then upload the screenshot to an image sharing website such as Imgur then provide the link in your response.

Try right clicking your taskbar, click lock taskbar, then right click it again and unlock it again. Usually works for me whenever my taskbars stuck on my screen while playing any game
