Hey there.
Unfortunately Ubisoft Support is the only way you're going to be able to recover this account I'm afraid. There is no other workaround or method to recover a lost account without contacting us. I suspect the issue if all you were able to provide is a screenshot of the gift purchase is they've been unable to locate the account in question. This might have been sufficient as proof of purchase but we need information or associated logs in order to locate the account first which based on your description sounds likely to be the case.
If you can think of anything else that might assist our team in locating the account, any previous email addresses, usernames, redeemed keys or linked consoles accounts for example could assist us in locating the lost account. If you're able to think of anything or find anything that might help please update your case.
Thanks
- Ubisoft Support
