Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Error Code 8-0x00000092 and Error Code 8-0x00000052 CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVERS
I am running the game on Windows 10 64-bit Pro, on Steam with all my ports and firewalls open and deactivated, but I still get the following error message in Rainbow Six Siege, every time:

Error Code 8-0x00000092
The rainbow six siege servers are unreachable
Please try again later for more information contact Ubisoft at link

I turned off all of my firewalls, opened all the ports on my router, added security exceptions giving total access in and out of my entire network from PC to modem for Uplay, Steam, and Rainbow Six Siege executables. Still no luck connecting....
I continue to get this message when starting the game:

The rainbow six siege servers are unreachable. Please try again later for more information contact Ubisoft.
Error Code: 8-0x00000092 - Cannot connect to servers

I have a Motorola SB6150 DOCSIS 3.0+ Cable Modem and a Linksys EA6900 Router with all ports forwarded to both TCP and UDP as listed in your Rainbow Six Siege FAQs.

My system is very capable, here are the specs:
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64-bit, licensed, registered - exceptions made for R6Siege exe, Uplay exe's, Steam exe's
ESET Smart Security 8 - exceptions made for R6Siege exe, Uplay exe's, Steam exe's
With both firewalls deactivated and activated, same result is the error code above.
Intel Core i5 3570K 4.6 GHz CPU
16 GB DDR3 Ram
4 TB HDD, 2x 512 GB SSD's Samsung 850 Evo Pro
Gigabyte Z77X Motherboard
Nvidia EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW+ GPU x2 in Dual-SLI
Creative SoundBlaster ZxR dBPro Ultimate Sound Card
Network Card is onboard, by RealTek and is set to Gigabit speeds.

As far as I know, and I work as a computer repairman and IT network admin, there are no problems on my end, or on my system that would cause the game to not connect to your servers.
My internet ISP is Comcast US, my region is Florida. My ISP service package is Comcast Xfinity 105 Mbps Cable with a consistent connection above 90 Gbps all day every day.

Any help will be appreciated! Thank you for your support.

I have a feeling that it's not that they don't want us to connect, but rather that their netcode is poorly written, bug-filled, and their servers are too. If UBI just used Steam servers, then we woudn't be having any of these annoying game-breaking problems... hear that Ubisoft? Remember that for next time, STEAM SERVERS PLEASE!

More than a week and I still can't play the game because of Ubi's servers.

Yopo, do you use Kaspersky? Mine was blocking Uplay connection because they have an invalid security certificate.
No I use ESET Smart Security 8, but that's not the problem since I turned it off completely when attempting to connect in the game. Thanks for the tip though Satan, this might help others who read this.
Satan, you look familiar, didn't we meet at the annual Demigod Conference in El Salvador last summer?

Sorry man, wasnt me, again if your Antivirus/malware do checkup ssl/tls certificates and check apps conectivity you need allow the program, shutting down this kind of program(antivirus) only make it harder because windows enters in some kind of lockdown. :steammocking:
Yep tried adding exceptions to all related game files, including the R6S executable, and the Uplay executeables, all of em. Still no luck connecting.

Its not the R6 executable, its uplay! That sht is bugged like hell.
Oh did you get more info about the network error codes? It's crappy Uplay that's causing this problem? I should've known!! lol

Definitely the game itself. I was using an old laptop with Windows 7, i7 processor, AMD Radeon and connecting fine. As soon as I upgraded and bought new laptop with Windows 10 and AMD chipsets, persistent disconnects. I hope they get a handle on it soon, basicially useless as of now. I had your error once, most of mine come in game after a minute or so of playing, rubber band, disconnected.

Hoping they have a team on it, it sucks that Ubi doesn't have any communication with the players about patching efforts or anything.

I already told you guys, uplay is using an invalid ssl certificate, just tell you antivirus to allow network flow on uplay.
Still doesn't work when I allow network flow on UPlay. I have ESET Security Suite 8
