Looks great. I'd be interested in a Linux version too.

Yeah, sign me up for a Linux version!

+1 for Linux/SteamOS, would be great for playing on a steam machine local multiplayer.
of course, it's still unlikely, since Mojang's parent company is Microsoft now...

Sadly planned support was dropped really late into development due to game engine changes or what have you. I still hold out hope one day I'll get to play natively, though.

Never gonna come. They dropped support and offered us refunds a while back.

Microsoft doesn't only develop for Windows, though (Minecraft has versions for all of their competitors). And Mojang only publishes Cobalt, so technically Microsoft doesn't own it in any way through that.

Oxeye has said they would love to see Linux and Mac support come back sometime, but whether it's possible or will happen soon is a story told by time.

Hi devs. I pre-ordered this a while ago when the parent company Mojang was still under Notch and there was reasonable expectations that Oxeye studios would be releasing this for Linux and I wanted to support gaming in Linux. Also, the site strongly implied that Linux versions would one day get released.

While I'm not running out of money or anything it still sucks to look at my humble bundle collections and see this thing there, still without a Linux version. But I guess once Microsoft steps in priorities often gets shuffled around. It's understandable.

You might want to either provide the port or clarify that the Linux version is never going to come.

They did offer refunds at release when it became apparent we were never going to get native linux support. Not sure if that offer has expired. Probably..
