i found BS buried in the early access bin when i found it, and i remember on release of BS you couldnt find it anywhere on the front page and they had to contact valve about it.
no wonder nobodys getting tricked into buying this game
Just like with BS, they didnt implement achievements, something that motivates people to keep playing puzzle games when the game itself becomes stale. the base game is there, sure. but theres also no trading cards, another point that is pretty much necessary for lower end games these days if you want sales Its almost like they dont know how to implement achievements and didnt learn, or just thought it wasnt important. i bet termi is to blame for that if i was a betting man.
not to mention the price point is ridiculous. most puzzle games of this level of content are 5 bucks or much less. asking 10 dollars for a 4 month old early access game is beyond foolish. Theres a whole ton of much, much better games for alot less, even in a similar vein.
I wish PHG luck but honestly i dont think they really know what theyre doing or are just not patient enough to complete a game before release. the similarities and pitfalls of their last release (BS) is astounding.

two days after release, not even 1 person playing per hour. unable to find it anywhere on the store page unless you dig deep. high price point. lack of achievements and trading cards, low content, no online multiplayer. geez. its not good. i was going to buy this but upon further thought im going to wait until its less than 1 dollar because honestly its not anywhere near worth it.
well lets just hope they wisen up on the price point and dont release this title until theyve completely finished it. for their sake.
How do you get the game more visible on the store page now then? cause based on steam charts its not doing too well. will PHG go under without the EA release being successul or will you guys be fine on money for awhile?
You need to seriously consider the price point. Rare is a puzzle game on steam selling for more than 5$. 5$ is a good price point. isnt it better to sell more games for less than to sell way less games for more?
if i was a game dev, actually ♥♥♥♥ that, a businessman, id want to generate as much hype for full release as possible. this release is the definition of anti-climactic. most people on the fence about this game would be enticed by a lower price point now IF there was promise itd rise in the future. they stated in the description of the game the price point wont change on full release, meaning if youre on the fence youre not going to buy it now, and youll probably have forgotten about this title by the time its released. i get what youre saying but at the same time its still just mind boggling how all the factors ive stated didnt 'factor' into their minds when they released this
you release a game into ea and ea titles show up on the main page, whats the point of releasing into ea if you arent trying to get sales?
