You hope to support this game after release?
“We hope Galacide will only be in Early Access until Q3 2015, but hope to support it with extra ships, campaigns and unlockables long after release!" from the store page

So essentially youre saying that you dont know if you will support the game after release? What is your companies track record for previous early access titles and support after release? How am I to feel confident in my purchase when reading such statements?

Hello!

Thank you for pointing out the less-than-reassuring wording in our original announcement. It seemed okay at 1am after working all day, but we obviously needed to more clearly communicate our goals and intentions. Sorry about that!

It’s not appropriate for me to talk about our activity with Blade Symphony in this post, but be assured we have plenty of content and features both planned and currently in the works for Galacide! Check out the updated Early Access description for details, but we fully intend to implement additional player ships and enemies, Campaign mode, Puzzle mode, and more.

No offense but you havent been with the team long enough to properly address my concerns. There was supposed to be more content for BS that never materialized and releasing a new game for such a small studio with language such as this and urinal-cakes is not very reassuring. So the team could not or was not able to finish blade symphony, and im supposed to expect...that youll finish both of them now? one of them? maybe not even both?

My reply was presented to and discussed by the entire team and represents our position and point of view going forward. We understand your concerns and will do our best to assuage them as Galacide grows into the finished game we want it to be.

still incredibly salty that I got 99% of the way towards making a flak cannon ripoff and then found out that it was lagging the netcode so badly[i.imgur.com] I had scrap it

the sticky-bomb-explodey bit was some goofy thing I was playing around with, but the general idea was "basi is pretty boring, let's steal yet another UT weapon and make it a flak cannon in 1.4" and it was working awesomely. Then I found out that spawning 7 projectiles in source is apparently against the rules (see netgraph pic). I dunno how they do it so well in TF2 with nailguns etc (probably because they're not actual physics objects, which I was using there, so you could bounce off walls and stuff)
