The new traps?
In the previews, we saw at least three new traps out of the six mentioned.

While the imgr page seems to be empty now, it showed a spiral-shaped map with moving platforms that had traps on them. Of these, ones of them was a turret-like trap that'd periodically fire out homing missiles that'd explode on contact with an enemy.

In the Announcement for DW2 there was a disc-throwing trap with the projectile bouncing off of things before disappearing, and a floor trap that looks like it teleports enemies away from it / to a random location? Was a little hard to tell exactly what that trap was doing.

So that leaves three out of the six traps. What are your guesses as to what the last three traps do?

One thing I thought of is a spawner that works on a floor tile rather than only on a wall. Maybe it'd spawn a single but stronger minion.

With the massive numbers that some dungeons will accumulate I don't know how well this would work, but maybe there's a "mind control" trap (Think the 'Spore Trap' from Orcs Must Die) that converts one or more enemies into a minion for you, kind of like how the ultimate upgrade to the Hex Trap works except it'd retain its current health and attack.

What else do you think might be in these remaining traps we've yet to see?

I hope that the new traps will be on theme with the game: I didn't like at all the slot machine...

Slot Machine most annoying, stupid trap in DW1. I never use it because I don't like to OCD click each slot machine every 10 seconds for 30 minutes straight. I did it once and that was more than enough. If the slot machine could Auto-Fire it would be fine.

Why can't Slot Machine Auto Fire?

Consumable Traps
- sends out a wave of ghosts from your heart to the entrance (not placable)
- spiders nest
- teleport (moves units back to entrance)
- greed trap (costs coins) units stop to collect gold

Wall/Floor Traps
-impaler (horizontal) impales enemies and knock-back
-succubus (converts enemies temporarily)
-vines (slows & also harpoons), attaches to walls

It should be able to auto-fire honestly, especially since the exp payouts from it aren't really gamebreaking even if you have a lot of them up - and those costs would have been more efficient placing honestly useful traps. To me it felt more like a bonus/easteregg thing than a trap you were geniunely meant to use in practical combat.

While I may be wrong here, but wasn't the Spear Trap originally manual activation and only the top tier upgrade would auto-trigger? I played the game earlier today and all the tiers would auto-fire, but I could have sworn the first few levels were manual-only.
