Sorry für die schlechte Übersetzung .
Yeah I regret buying it already. I knew it would take some time to have episode 2 out, but its been like, 8 months or so, and we don't know an exact date and IMO, the game was fun and interesting, but its taking so, so long, even for updates.
"Hi! We are going to be making a more official statement on this soon! thanks for following up!"
That was April 4th. I'm becoming less and less impressed with this particular dev. Come on Justin, comment back and prove me wrong....PLEASE.
I know what happened though. Virtual reality dropped and now they're scrambling, re-coding the whole game to accomodate. In the process though, whether they're intending to or not, they're telling their existing customers (especially those who have no intention of getting VR yet) to suck it up and to kindly go ♥♥♥♥ ourselves.
"Hi! We are going to be making a more official statement on this soon! thanks for following up!"
that's the response they've given out since I asked them over a month ago, several days before EP 2 was supposed to come out. If it's the VR thing that's holding them back then they should stop that and focus on the actual game itself. Not only that but most people who actually bought this thing for VR mode have reported severe sim sickness as you can imagine since it wasn't originally built for it.
Not trying to bash the game but it's upsetting seeing the devs not properly communicating.
this right here's the response I luckily recieved from them when I asked about the release on the 7th of March (posted March 10th)
If you look at the recent reviews for episode 1, the overall reception since VR has been rather unfavorable. The game needs a lot of work for VR now and the reviews reflect that. The VR folks are nautious from the game, but the janky dev communication is what makes me sick.
Practice on your own dime, Justin. The people that paid for the game want it! Otherwise, it's perceived that you're trying to sucker people into giving you interest free loans.
Sorry i've been missing your communications, guys!
I'm also sorry that you think I'm a piece of ♥♥♥♥, MegaSlayer.
You can always contact me directly at contact@apelaw.com, that way you can be sure I will see your message.
You're right. It does look like we are trying to get people to pre-purchase the game with no intention of delivering, but the truth couldn't be farther from that. We all want episode 2 to be as awesome as possible and not a rushed, half-assed money grab, right?
We are def dropping the ball in the PR arena. We are learning that PR alone is a full time job. Sorry about that.
We are currently seeking funding for the completion of Episode 2. In the meantime we are working on polishing Ep 1 for VR because we have at least the minimal funds needed for that.
Currently Episode 2 is slated for release in September 2017.
I'm sure that comes as a dissapointment.
If we are unable to raise the funding we need to make the game happen we will of course be issuing refunds on pre-purchases.
Just fyi- we updated the game with a HUGE performance overhaul just last month!
Again if you want to be sure i am hearing you loud and clear please send a message to contact@apelaw.com
Thanks again for playing. I regret not communicating more clearly with you guys. Lesson learned.

That said, I really hope you guys get the funding for episode 2. Since you cleared up the confusion, I'd even be willing to pay more to try and make it happen. That is, if the alternative is not getting it at all. I'm not sure if everyone feels that way, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Thanks for your kind words on Ep2, Mega Slayer. Our last effort will be to run a kickstarter for Ep2, but we are no where near feeling like that needs to happen yet.
Once funding is finalized for ep2 i will be sure to make an update immediately to let you guys know.
That guy has a lot of nerve. He's handled this very poorly and isn't doing anything to attempt to make it right for the people who have already purchased all 3 episodes. I'll be getting refunded, I don't know how yet...but I have a way with people.
