New patch, new map updates, and workshop updates, killed the population on many servers. A lot of people had to redownload the same custom map 3 times and there are atleast 10 custom maps in rotation. 30 downloads (including the 3gb update)? No way...

When I first joined Ro2 the population was well over 2000..almost 3000. Over the months, it dwindiled down to 200...I am very sad. Esepcially because many new updates and custom maps are out there for everyone to join.

*No transport vehicles
*Only 2 tanks
*The command system isn't working
*We are still stuck with the horrible console wheel for orders/voice commmands
*Auto balance still not working as intended
*Still no Online Campaign
*Still no coop mode
*Path finding is a mess, lot of places where it's impossible to prone/mount mg, tanks keep getting stuck on terrain and are incapable of going over small obstacles
*Voice commands are not as useful as it should be (don't display info on where in the map you are)
*Barebones leveling/unlock/upgrade system

...and the list goes on and on.

Don't get me wrong, I know TW is working nonstop since launch to improve the game and adress players concerns.
As result the game is way better now than it was on launch but I don't like (personal opinion) some of the core mechanics of this sequel.
I still play it every now and again but nowhere near as much as I used to play Ostfront.

The game wasn't worth being called a beta when it was first released, now it's better after several patches and I respect TW for actually working on it, but unfortunately when the playerbase is deserting (and you can't blame them for doing that) it's hard to make them come back, even after repairing the game.

On a personal note, I don't play often anymore simply because I played it enough and went to something else.

Still cannot get the game to stop freezing after launch forcing me to reboot PC even after updates, by the time I get this game up and running, the servers will be empty! :{
Well im a little dissapointet,, but as all im waiting for Rising storm too, however i don't have a problem finding people to play with :)

But yes as someone said above, I simply just played too much of the game, went to something else :)

But i think it's because of the lack of DLC's i quit the game, i like they update the game often, and when it is it's big updates i love that they have my respect for that,

DLC's keeping me in a game for some time, and since yes this game is almost one year old and no official DLC's even the Rising Storm aint a offical, (It's community modders with help from the developers of the game) However it looks very good indeed, and FPS games like Ro2 set in the pacific i can't wait ^^

There are many custom maps out there that offer more than just stock maps. Though they are not official DLC, they are a community effort to keep people playing. Please try them out! =)
