From the official Red Orchestra 2 website: http://www.heroesofstalingrad.com/about
Go to the last line entitled "New Vehicles"
"We will roll out new vehicles for the game, including new tanks and armored transports"
http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showpost.php?p=1032558&postcount=3 This is from 2012.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Orchestra_2:_Heroes_of_Stalingrad "Because of the extensive work required to recreate each vehicle, which Tripwire estimates to take three months each, the game launched with two tanks: the German Panzer IV and Soviet T-34. Two more tanks and two troop carriers are in production and will be added to the game for free shortly after launch.[9]"
Post me a picture of you eating your hat, please.
lloks like the answer to the O.P.'s question is a resounding, "as soon as they are ready."
;-)
p.s. my camera's batteries are dead. you'll have to pretend i'm a dev. and take my word for it.
They would have to extend the time period with new scenarios, because right now those tanks don't exist yet.
and by SeriousCat announced about timeframe...I wouldn't see that as bad thing,it would actually be good thing I think. RO2 is good as it is now,but it would be better with extended timeframe and little bit more focusing armored warfare,WW2 was goldenage of armors imo
