Perhaps giving the russians more ppsh's would help to balance the mg42 out some? MG42 irl was "op" war isn't fair lol. The russians had whole divisions of units just armed with ppsh's so it wouldn't be "unrealistic"
Stop talking ♥♥♥♥ over ♥♥♥♥, noone complained about the mg42 in Roost, its a german weapon and it should only used by the germans like the mg34 or the mkb. TWI made the biggest mistake by implementing a stupid and awful perks and grindsystem. It should be handled like in ro ost, only historical accurate weapons for each feaction. Ro2 turns more and more into another Red Cod Call of War Duty.
Ok, this gun makes no sense to me. Granted, far as I know it is historicaly acurate in its fire rate, and hipfire acuracy. HOWEVER The MG34, was just as bad and I got use to it. The fact they added an even powerful version of the weapon, makes no sense. Russian team has it bad enough with thier equipment. Now we have to deal with more rambo MG users that can shoot you in the head over 60M away with a fully automatic weapon.
Do these people realize that the mg34 is superior in terms of ammo managment, control and accuracy? Only reason to use the mg42 is for the rate of fire.
In retrospect though, I don't think that the mg42 was that much of a game changer. It takes a while to get and it needs to be levelled up to be as good as your 34 would be at that point.
Sure you can go rambo with it, but say goodbye to stealth. If you go around hipfiring it in close quarters you might as well put up a neon sign saying "Please throw a grenade into my room"

A single hand held weapon can't really ever become a game changer in a world war.

Unless you arm every soldier with one, then yes...
I still want to see the real life trooper that can carry a 34lb weapon and 90lbs of ammunition (2 250rd belts) along withn all his other gear. This at the time, this old time Infantryman in shape, infantryman could never do the same thing with the far more modern M60 Machinegun and 500rds of ammunition. But it is a 'game' so fantasy rules, reality comes near last in priorities.

Even using 13g Bullets, that comes down to a little bit less than 15lbs (MG Ammo), and 25lbs (actual MG) which amounts to about 40lbs, which is 1/3 of what you claim...

>Best Semi auto rifle
>Best bolt action rifle
Yeah the Russians really have it tough.

Wtf?
