The free game only included the rifleman role in multiplayer. Its still a great deal at $5 though

Yesterday (24) it was still said to be free. I added it to my library, and started downloading, today it's says 2 days left. So, what?

My friend downloaded it for free, and he can play it, no 2 days left for him. He told me to get it, so I freed up 22 gigs just to get this game, and now it's not free anymore?

That's only for Rising Storm (the expansion). If you added Red Orchestra 2 to your library during the free promotion, it is yours forever. You can even play on all Rising Storm maps, albeit only as a rifleman. All RO maps will have all weapons available.

To simplify:
RO -- Red Orchestra -- Germans vs Russians (what was offered during the free-day promotion)
RS -- Rising Storm --- Japan vs America (what is currently having a free weekend, and which has 2 days left on a $5 promotion.

well, that's it, we both were wrong. I clicked the button at the right time, but the game needed to be downloaded for me to get it. It was fun tough, while it lasted
