They had regular business with Russia, from naval skirmishes to ground war during the last century. Even in the 10's
People often remember them as WW2 ennemies - yet they were allied in WW1.

Tripwire said that they wereworking on updates to put 2 of the 4 factions (already present in the game) against each other, which haven´t fought (in RO2/RS) against each others yet.

While most people assume that it is USA vs. Germany, Tripwire might as well surprise us and give us Japan vs. USSR
