Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer

Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer

This is better or Verdun?
So yeah, on Verdun folks are saying that is better than this. Really?

Is this worth for the SP portion alone? Is the SP in Stalingard siege only?

How do you think a complete noob like me can adapt to the game?

I personally find Red Orchestra 2 a lot better than Verdun but I do need to say:

Do not buy this for the single-player, it is worthless, broken and bad. Multi-player is where all the fun is and with that in mind you should buy Rising Storm, as it includes the entire Red Orchestra 2 multi-player.

It's easy enough to adapt as new player if you have a bit of patience, you do have to want to play a slower, more deliberate shooter though, or else it will never be fun for you.

He said it all.
They are so diferent.
RO2 is in my opinion, the best FPS kinda SIM ever made.
Verdun is a very nice game with lots of potential since its unique.
Grab them both...plus Insurgency.

Bingo!

this is pretty much the bast answer, I personaly like RO2 better (more polished, better graphics free aim) but verdun is pretty awsome as well.
How many players are online usually?
Dunno about the total number of players, but Verdun usually has a good amount of players during the european evening and rather lacks players deep in the night.
Similar, but not as extreme, it is for the european servers of RO2/RS
(dunno about servers for other regions)
The playerbase never go down 500-600 in RO2|RS.
Generally is between 1000 - 1500
Just brought Verden, good stuff in it but damn you can feel the difference. even if its old RO2 is still a much better game
IIRC Verdun has not even a quarter of the people working on RO2, probably even less :P
Why not both? The two aren't really comparable as people already mentioned, RO2 is quite a bit more professional and with a higher budget though. Doesn't stop you from enjoying both, does it?
It's very important to support smaller fps games, ro2,verdun.ns2, insurgency and so because these people are still trying to do atleast something different than the bigger companies. If their products don't sell enough there will only be bad fps games in the future.

So if you have money and you like fps games go buy all of em before it's too late!.

I believe it is 3 people working on it. Pretty impressive how far it's gone so far.
With some freelancers thrown in too. I know a guy that worked on the UI for example.
is insurgency any good ? i am a little uneasy about the topic it portrays.
I have both games and I can say Verdun is horrible. I have over 300 hours in RO2 and I love how realstic this FPS is. I hate games like COD or battlefield where you have to empty your clip to kill one person.
