What does the japanese monopod actually do?

better stability for your weapon if you manage to find a surface at its height. It's basically the same as a bipod but you can crouch on even terrain and get the bonus as if you were laying down, as an example.

I have one in real life and it honestly does close to nothing lol.

Ingame the monopod let you rest the rifle supported while prone, it should indicate the same icon as when the rifle is rested on sandbags, door frame, etc. I never used it. it does not look aesthetic to me running with the rifle with the monopod extended. It is sad they never addressed that the function of weapons :/ deploy bipods and attach deattach bayonet.

Again it is almost unnoticeable, the only thing is that being the last level of the rifle the rifleman will cycle the bolt a bit faster so its your call. I managed without both things for sake of #aesthetics
