Ahhh, that makes sense.
EDIT: installed the new build and set up the virtualhere software on host machine and still no dpad.
Ah, just looked it up. It's a proprietary protocol, which uses usbip on lo on the clientside to hook into the kernels usb hub. So it needs a proprietary userspace client. But there is a lot of platform support.
The problem is, that VirtualHere is only free with 1 device. I tried to connect my 4 XBox 360Controllers and VirtualHere asked me for a license... and i recognized, if you connect your controller via VirtualHere, then you can't move the mouse anymore at the desktop, if you close big picture and want to stream the desktop.
I'm not sure what you mean by sound failures? Are you running wired or wireless?
