EDIT: FIXED, however, controller does not turn on steam link and still has trouble connecting, resulting in a few attempts before it works.

(699) breaks Xbox One Wireless (bluetooth) controllers. I'm on the latest steam beta. I also updated the controller firmware, but did not fix it. I'm certain it's the firmware update as the last beta was working fine.

Controller connects but fails to function in Steam Link UI menus, the steam client menus, and the games. buttons and thumb sticks do nothing.

Thanks for the report, I'll take a look.

My Steam Link just updated to 699. Same problem as others, Xbox One wireless controller won't work, but will connect.

699 breaks Xbox one Bluetooth controllers, but my steam controller were working fine. Opted out of beta and they're working fine again so it's a good workaround for now

I had the same issues of terrible quality or non-connecting with my fully wired setup (that has been streaming at 1080p 60Hz on Beautiful for more than two years pretty much faultlessly) as others did on the previous build 698 but this new build hasn't fixed it for me. I do connect now and the network test says OK up to 30Mb/s but it's stutter-city if I choose 50, 30 or 25. Left alone on automatic it works... but at about the lowest res it could possibly do. Macro-blocking across every square inch. I can't even read the numberplate on the back of MY car in Burnout. Even the menus have blocking and artifacts.

Nothing hardware has changed for me. Is there a fix incoming because it is currently (still) unusable!

this is also happening using the raspberry pi steam link app. definitely steam client side, this started up right after the new library update, so perhaps the networking and streaming code needs to be worked on.

Every time I try to pair my xbox elite series 2 controller I just get the message "Bluetooth connection failed: unable to complete pairing." this is also the case in non-beta so I guess it isn't a new issue.

My Xbox One wireless is dead too. It connects but not responding.

same here, bluetooth broken on my first steam link on 699... I have a second one that's working fine with all my One controllers on 695 ...

I also have a new issue, I now get stuck on the new connection screen between the Steam Link and my PC, my Computer acts as if it is connected as Big Picture mode is started and running on the PC but no response to Steam Controller and my TV is stuck on the new loading connection loading screen. Have to go to PC to stop streaming or turn off Steam Link. Acts as per usual when steam link is booted up just issue when selecting to connect to computer

Same Here... Xbox One controller BT broken with 699! Paperweight now :(

Maybe slightly OT but I'm now poking around with Moonlight on my Steam Link since it's currently unusable for me since (seemingly) the Library update of 30 Oct but not having a great time with that either. Anyone know of a very simple How To in order to get it working. It won't even happily stream at 720p30 but it may well be me...

Edit 19/11: Library update had nothing to do with it! Totally coincidentally a powerline adaptor decided to screw up just enough to ruin everything on the same day. Normal service resumed!
