Custom lights on dualsense not working
Steam input for PS controllers was probably the first thing I tried, and today it was switched off in settings.... Which is super strange, cause I didn't leave it off. I know cause any other time
it's off the controller is completely unresponsive as a mouse (which is what I use it for primarily) and it was mousing just fine.

I figure they fixed whatever the problem was, cause turning ps

WARNING - New Steam Client update completely breaks Glossi for me
Title.
I turn on Glossi, my computer turns into an unresponsive mess, and I get 0.5 frames per second on my desktop. No way to open task manager, nothing but a hard restart fixes it.
Which means
this update fundamentally breaks playing anything other than Steam Games, or using THEIR OWN CONTROLLER on anything else, which was working perfectly before.

First they absolutely RUIN Big Picture Mode's UI

Action Layer sometimes fails to enter (hack-ishly fixed)
benefit of using gyro is that it gets to mimic the positional input of a raw input mouse, providing functionally superior control over a joystick (and the joystick is particularly awful in RE4). Sidenote
, RE4 "out of the box" doesn't actually have Raw Input mouse and has weird acceleration issues, but the mod that comes with the amazing RE4HD Project fixes this.

Suddenly can't connect via bluetooth
on. Sort of weird, but it led me down a little side tangent of finding out what the bluetooth is even different at and from what I read it not only has more input lag than the dongle but also from
windows' bluetooth interface forget the controller before pairing again? Windows has some terrible quirks around bluetooth that need some basic troubleshooting methods every time just to provide normal

controllers can achieve. This is due to the extra input options. Two touchpads, grip buttons, and two stage triggers alongside a horde of options for every part of the controller means you can take nearly any
actually use your your body's manipulations of 3d space.
I will say that using the Gyro/Pad at first feels really weird and unnatural at first. It does not feel intuitive. Your brain will be going back

Controller settings needs more.
quite a bit of people I know away from this amazing device because low friction was too slippery and medium was too stiff.

  • There should be a way to test the inputs inside of the controller settings
    , but maybe workshop/mod support for controllers? It would be interesting to see what kind of weird things people come up with.

[SIAPI Feature Request] String Input
Input is that a user could input text as a binding in the controller configurator. There could be multiple types of string input like chat input, console input, or have a dedicated On Screen Keyboard
to steam input games. This solves the potential issue of Steam Input games having a weird possibility of creating ModAction0 thru ModAction99 when creating a game. Here's a really good example of a potential

Hmm, if you definitely 1) have it mapped to control and ' (by enter) and not ` (by escape), 2) are holding Back (and only back) while then pressing LB, 3) don't have the cursor in chat

Doesn't Dark Souls series use some kind of weird half native Steam controller implementation? Or is it just the third game?
In any case, if there is some kind of "support" (i haven't played SOTFS
in a long time), try disabling it and doing your controls from scratch from an empty template.
Alternatively - use keyboard controls and map them on to your controller. They interpret input differently
