Have set Origin client not to show origin after gameplay.
For swapping between Origin games, as client has to be fully closed off for it to launch, i've documented in below link what i've done.

So it is not downgrading. :/
Any ideas?

Works great with all the games I've tested it with (they work on desktop and on the Steam Link)... tried ME:A, SW:BF2, DA:I... it basically gets the games working with the Steam Overlay, so anything you could do with a normal Steam game, you can do with the Origin games (Steam Controller, Xbox One, 360 or PS4 controller being driven by Steam, etc.)
Once you follow the simple instructions, it seems as though it's really just an automated script to launch Origin, wait, launch the game, wait, play, exit game, wait, quit Origin... back to Steam... it's pretty seamless once you add all your games via that method... by doing this, you don't have to put Origin in compatibility mode or any of the other tweaking methods I've seen around
Hey man. I've replied to you on multiple posts. Your approach, all your .bat files do with me is close Origin, which results in the game closing. Any tips?
