Resolution options

Was it really necessary to remove all the resolution options?
It's borderline unplayable at 2560x1600 because everything is so tiny. I assume it's even worse at 4K.
Is there any way to set it manually?

The buttons remain the same size for different resolutions, so the resolution setting would not have helped much here, but I agree, they are too small. I investigated, and it seems that I had to remove the resolution option due to the graphics engine being so old, Notrium is about 22 years old now. It still seems to run on Windows 11, hooray! :)

is there anything you can write to scale it up or down, and or let us zoom in or out? I've come back to the game after near 2 decades, and its not like i remember it, it's a bit unplayable. my monitors resolution is 4865 x 2036. i cant see anything even with my glasses on. not just menu stuff but in world, plants flowers and enemies are so small they are near invisible. the games unplayable.

Being able to run it at lower resolution in fullscreen would be enough (since everything, including the buttons, would be stretched to screen size).

Because of this old versions are actually a better choice for modern systems, ironically, since they work just fine on Win 10 and let you pick the resolution.

I can now happily report that I've added resolution independent camera scaling to Notrium! That means that the game no longer looks tiny when viewed on a high resolution monitor.
