Steredenn: The Final Roadmap
Dear players,

After more than 3 years, we're reaching the end of the development for Steredenn. We think it is time for us to move on to new exciting projects.

We're so glad to have lived this amazing space adventure thanks to you! With Binary Stars, we think there are not many things left we could add to the game.

So from now, we are not planning to add any new features to the game.

We are working on the, we hope, final 2.1.3 patch that will fix the ~30 bugs you encountered and reported since the Binary Stars release.

It **should** be released early May 2018. All platforms will receive it (but as you probably noticed, we kinda lack of workforce when it comes to consoles development so we're not super fast).

We will not totally drop the support of the game and we will fix any breaking bug that may happens in the future, but it should be rare (right? :D).

We have some small games projects in the process, we love the gamedev industry but we're also looking for new non-games adventures.

Have fun blasting those space pirates, they deserve it!

Thank you. So much. <3

Damien, Matthieu & Simon.

I can't thank you enough for this game. It has easily become one of my favourite titles. I think it was a very brave decision for you to even make this game. A game that doesn't hold your hand, lets you experiment with the mechanics, and a game that is very challangeing, and feels new every run. I think you know what I mean and how modern titles want you help you every time which takes the fun out it. I remember getting my ass handed to me by the third boss so many times. Now I am happy to say that I can beat the mothership with the blaster without taking damage. I see threads in the forums asking about tactics, weapon or upgrade choices and I don't feel like commenting "git gud" to every one of them, but essentially this is really the magic of the game. You hate it so you beat it and it feels great. If you can't you try again.
Now binary stars was really a surprising amount of free content for which I am very grateful for. I enjoyed every moment of it. So thank you again and I am looking forward to your new games very much.
non-game developments? booo.
Seriously, hope all works well with you guys. thanks for the fine game =)
Aw, nuts, and I just had an idea for a new ship type I was going to offer.
I rather like when this is how games go. The devs show that they really love what they've made, make it the best they can, and move on. Have seen too many titles that I love never get deemed complete, and eventually it changes into something I don't even like. Thanks for making something with the quality and simple pleasure of a 90s classic!
Thanks a lot for this piece of art <3
Thanks for your kind words. :)
Thank you for that game. Loved every minute of it, even more after the Binary Update!
Thank you so much for Steredenn! I'm not usually a huge fan of shoot em up, but with such a good looking game and soundtrack that makes it complete, I've had a lot of fun playing through the game, and binary stars adds that extra level of depth and challenge that makes the games one of my favorites. Can't wait to explore all that binary stars has to offer, and watch whatever you guys may be making next!
Yeah that last patch was worthy, a good way to go IMO. I wish more game devs would quit with something juicy rather than hyping something up then quitting before delivering. bah.
Thank you all so much for your hard work! I love this game and can see myself going back to it over and over for years to come. And who knows, maybe one day I'll actually complete it :)
As a runner of this game, I love it and I'm slowly but surely convincing others to take part in a 90s Rougelike shump that goes well and beyond what most can comprehend. With the Red Baron finally unlocked and a mountain to climb for the top score for the lifecycle of this bad boy, I want to sincerely thank you all and I hope the next bad boy you bring to the table will be as good as this one was!

Never give up and never surrender. Enjoy the gaming dev life as we gamers will enjoy this game.

Noooooo! Sad but happy and eager to learn about your new endeavours. Personally I won't stop playing as long as there's a daily I can beat up people on :D
Thx for everything Steredenn’s team , for making this game and for make him AMAZING , i hoping new proyects of you in the future with this quality :)
It's always a slight tinge of sadness when any dev signs off on a project, however, in this case you guys have done this game justice. You've made a glorious game.

My offer stands if you still want a robovoiceover for the main Steredenn Title and other things. ( I made it an age ago but hell, what game doesn't get better with robovoices! )
