Some issues
Well I got the game, but I have got some gripes with it.

1 - very poor menu layout, especailly when trying to configure keys. I think some mouse support would help a lot here. for some reason, I can't use the mouse in the menus.

2 - can't seem to disable controller vibration, I utterly hate games that don't have an option to disable this. or the option is there, but the menu not clear on where to disable it?

Not really got that far, but I won't touch the game until point 2 has been addressed at least. And please make the menu layout a lot clearer and add mouse support in the menus.

there is, you need to go to the settings, (spinning wheel with 2 circles, and the option is at the top.

But I really hate the menu, as its not that good to navigate. Something I hope the devs will change.

Needs a LOT more mouse support. I don't own a controller. Not comfortable with them and I shouldn't have to buy one to make a PC game functional.

I guess that the devs aren't going to respond, either they not interested in fixing these basic issues, I can't play the game because of the forced controller vibration, it's a deal breaker for me. If they aren't interested in fixing this, then I have no choice but to request a refund.

Well, the devs have been active, but clearly, they are still ignoring this post, I have requested a refund, as I find playing the game to be annoyance with controller virbration. If the devs aren't interested in addressing the problems, then I clearly made a mistake in buying this game.

I'm here!

We're working on an FAQ. Things have been a bit crazy with launch, but we are here and we're making sure we get as many questions answered as possible in the FAQ.

EDIT:

Currently there is not a way to disable the vibration, but it is used in-game to help you identify nearby artifacts, so you'll want to keep it on to aid in your journey.

Further on that note, InnerSpace is best experienced with a controller, so the menus reflect that design decision. We'll look into menu control with the mouse for a future update though.

Sorry, but I don't think much of forced virbration, it really not good for hands, I personally find it distracting. So I feel this choice is a very poor one.

Even if the game uses a controller, the menu is a real mess, and very bad to navigate in.

Anyway, I have just got a reply about the refund, its been accepted. So I no longer have this game now.

So the handicapping of keyboard remapping is intentional? That's too bad. I don't own a controller. I'm a PC gamer. I've never been coralled into buying a controller for any other game. Maybe I should look into refunding as well if that's the case.

We're here to listen, and if that's something you'd like us to implement, we can evaluate if it's possible to integrate in a future patch.

We want to deliver the best experience possible!

I've been using a joystick, for me it works a bit better than a controler

Joystick as in like a flight stick? I could be down with that. I've been meaning to get one for Battlefront anyway!

I can't get drift to work at all on PC with XBOX controller. The game is unplayable without the Drift action. I press the right button and it goes right off the screen.

I'm using a Thrustnaster T-flight HOTAS-X and it's working lovely..

Which XBOX controller are you using?

Wanted to point out that saying that playing with a controller is better, so no mouse support in the menus, is crazy. Even though I have a controller, I much prefer to navigate options menus with a mouse.

It also gives a terrible first impression when the game defaults to a tiny resolution and no mouse support to fix it. I expect most first time users will not know of the developer's preference for controllers, making the game seem unfinished or even broken.

Any word on better keyboard/mouse control 2 months later?
