How is this 8 year old game $40?
never heard of this game and I looked at the release date and price and had a good laugh. Yikes.

it is a bit stupid that the price is still so high given its age, but ive played 1500 games of this probably worth 10,000 hours, thats far more than Ive played for my entire steam collection of 300+ games. If you like this sort of thing, its worth the price, try the demo and see.
Yes, we all like a bargian, and its annoying when companies (like EA) just wont drop the price on there games. But, thats up to them, its a buyers market, and if there too stupid to realise that...
I love this game. Played the demo over and over years ago but there is no way in hell im gonna pay $40 dollars for it. The heads of EA must be on crack. If thats the case, they need to suck my ♥♥♥♥ too if i ever break down and buy this game!
I've played the demo for years. I relaly enjoy it. But I wouldn't count on multiplayer. I've only been able to play one MP game in the years I've had the demo.

Still waiting for a sale on it.

P.S. Also not a huge fan of how it's online only. You can't play without an internet connection to their server. I'd hate to pay $40 for a game and then have the server tken offline and never be able to play again.
With that price for old game, I rather spend on battle of kronos which from kickstarter.
Its a great game, but not worth 40 bucks.... a friend of mine was nice enough to by it for my birthday.. I know i would have never bought for myself! :P
$28 over at GamersGate.......still high but better....there is also MA PR for $13.....
Yes Developers (wargaming.net) & Steam are crazy.
Ancient game with tonns of bugs cost 40$ - hahaha
It real cost 10$ with full fix.
the developers abandoned this years ago, I havent played for a year or so now, but when I did play it, there was never any problem getting a game or ten. This game is very solid, and not buggy. There is the occasional crash bug, but its not worth mentioing it hapens so rarely.
I wanted to see a MAN3, but, it will never happen as the devs have moved on to bigger and aparently better things.
@duncanperham I am a huge fan of the series and i did pay full price for the game although it definetely should be lowered to 5-10$ max. I was hoping to see MAN 3 at some point but Wargaming has abandoned this masterpiece of a strategy and turned to World of Tanks instead -.-
There's a package deal right now with both Assault games together for under $13 USD. I was wondering - Will this still be playable if and when the servers get pulled? (they are still up and running with players believe it or not). It appears you have to sign into the Master Server to play against A.I. as well.
I've put hundreds of hours into this game, and love it tremendously...but over the course of this past year I've gotten many data transmission errors, and since you have to connect to play against the AI, even single player will be down when you least expect it. It just happened to me again today. I can't continue my game. I wish they would just let fans mod the AI and patch it to be offline.

It's sad that this gem of turn base strategy genre is not played by more people. Very high price was probably main reason why many avoided it. I tried many titles in the turn base genre and this one is top one. Though, the story and the shell is bit cheap but inside is pure strategy. How many turn base games you can count where luck is not a factor? Chess would be one correct answers.
Here's the problem, when you play in MP it is not fun, your brain will boil as most of the guys out there are pros with several years of experience.
Who likes challenge, now you can have it for half price.
Anyway, huge recommendation to all with interest in turn base strategy.
Played the caca out of this game way back when... must have been like 10 years last time xD
It looked gorgeous, had interesting units for the times, and seemed very promising.

Are there still people playing it? Is it still worth getting?
I'm all down for it, but my last christmas gaming budget might be spent on it, so I need to know. I don't remember there being an singleplayer option..
