You mean in single player? It's a launch option for servers, so for single player you'll probably need to set it as a launch option for the game in Steam. Right click the game in your library, select Properties, and on the small window that pops up look for 'Set Launch Options'. In the box that appears, paste -ForceAllowCaveFlyers (including the - at the start) and save it.

Thanks for the idea, but it didn't work, still ejecting me from my birds as soon as I enter. Might it need a different command since I'm playing on the Center?

No, should work on the Center as well. It's odd that it's not working, I've heard others say it works for them. I'm afraid I don't know why that should be the case, hopefully someone else on this forum will know a bit more than I do. Sorry I'm not much help :(

I have only been able to get this to work on my server in the island map and not the center , never understood why .
But it did eject me then once in the cave allow me to mount a ptera and fly inside..
This is a buggy feature and is hit or miss use fireftp for ftp editing as this is what I used to get it to work for me
Ps. If you get it to work on the center please let me know how you did it ...I have tried forever

I run my single player games on a locally hosted dedicated server to avoid some of the non-dedicated game bugs. That's one solution to the problem, although it does require a pretty powerful computer to do it. But that allows you to put this command in the startup script for the server so it works properly.

I think thats how I have mine set up. So I'd just drop that same string in the .bat file?

Oh right, I thought you were meaning a non-dedicated server :o Sorry my bad for missunderstanding.

In that case yeah, just slip it in towards the end of the .bat string. Here's the one I use for my private server with friends:

start ShooterGameServer.exe TheCenter?AllowFlyerCarryPVE=True?ShowFloatingDamageText=true?QueryPort=27015?SessionName=*****?MaxPlayers=3?listen?ServerName=*****?ServerPassword=*****?ServerAdminPassword=*****? GameModIds=<mods> -ForceAllowCaveFlyers -nosteamclient -game -server -log

Thanks, I'll try that.
