Carno gets stuck on indestructible redwood tree

So my tribemate just got one of my best carnos stuck on an indestructible tree in redwoods. The carno is just rubberbanding back and forth, seems like it is running or something. What can I do to save the carno? These issues are crazy for a game that has been in development for so long and are really, REALLY irritating. ANY help is appreciated, I really want to save the carno..

Get a quetz and grab it out. If a quetz isn't available I recommend asking for help. If you play an official it is best to move to an unofficial, seeing as officials make you spend 1 full day of your life taming something that will get pulled on to the ocean by minecraft 10 year olds. Just looking out for you man.

We have no quetz and are playing on official PVE. Is there no way to get it unstuck without a quetz?

The carno is a perfect kibble tame 120 lv with good melee and hp so it really is not something I want to lose to a crazy bug that should not exist in the first place..

Nope. I highly recommend an unofficial. Getting a quetz is easy and isnt the biggest challenge in the game. I play a server with annunaki, a mod that adds "wardens" which are more challenging than the strongest titanosaur.

Also, dinos can go all the way up to 600 in the wild on this server, and taming a carno will not take 10 hours of your life away.

Sometimes having them follow you from all different angles can cause them to prize themselves free. Alternatively try building some foundations under it to see if that unsticks it.

Good call Hermit! I would haven tried punching it out, sometimes that has worked for me. Not only does it move the dino, but feels surprisingly good slapping it around for making such a dumb move in the first place. Win win. Please don't call PETA.

I tried punching since that has worked before but it had no effect in this case, but placing the platform made the carno jump almost as high as the redwood trees! :D

future refrence, leave the area and come back to it, if no players are in the general area it will reset the terrain and may unstuck him, or fall thru the world, whichever one

Side note, I highly recommend joining an unofficial server. Official servers have proven that they have to make it a grind to get to any part of the game. On an unofficial, what would take months on an official would take a week on an unofficial.

Anyone have any good unofficial servers to recommend? Last few I tried had crappy Admins that used their powers recklessly. But I am sick of 4 hours to tame a lvl 15 dino just to have it eaten on the way back home.

New Era is a great unofficial. I can invite you if you want. It has a bunch of mods which help make gameplay better.
