Single Player Aberration Question

So I've been reading around since we have to visit several maps to obtain the new weapons skins. There are maps I need to play anyway. :)

I play SP no mods and from reading it looks like I can't leave Aberration? There isn't an obelisk except on the surface maybe. Lots of posts saying you can't leave via drops either.

Is there a way to enter and leave Aberration with my existing level 99 character? Thanks!!

There is in fact Obelisks on the surface of Abberation. If you're new to the map, which it looks like you are, DO NOT GO TO THE SURFACE DURING THE DAY. YOU WILL DIE

Yes you can tranfer, you can use the suply drops and other thing cant remember the name now.

No. You can't use supply drops in single player. You are in fact stuck until you can get past the surface mobs or get down to the radiation zone terminal.

Ugh yet another reason to ditch SP lol. Just self host a dedicated and connect to that ;-)

Yeah I have never played this map. Trying to get established on all maps since you have to visit maps for the Genesis skins.

Every video I have seen of someone going outside, even at night makes them catch fire even if they have a radiation suit on. I really want to play all maps. Guess I will have to figure out a way to find the radiation zone terminal.

So Is there no way for me to take anything to this map like guns, an Argentavis maybe? I am guessing not or if I did I would have to get to the radiation zone to retrieve it...ugh...

If you go to the surface at night you won't catch fire, but you will have to deal with a whole host of seekers and reaper kings. If you get a really fast ravager or raptor you might be able to outrun them, and get to the terminal to upload yourself before they catch up, but you wouldn't be able to upload items in that time and you'd probably lose the tame.

If you did try that, just make sure to duck and weave as the reapers chase you, because their 'cocoon' ranged attack lowers your movement speed massively...you'd be a sitting hesperornis then.

You can't use flyers on abberation, sadly.

Unless modded with a core mod, like Pugnacia

you don't even need mods to get a flyer in. You spawn it in? Usable. (Tested with griffin and seeker, have yet to test with others). There is a setting / ini setting that allows uploading even foreign dinos in abb.

You could also craft a replicator and then a transmitter. Or spawn one in.

Once you get a rock drake it's easy to visit the surface. To get a Rock drake though you have to get into the radiation zone... I'd make the hazard suit, get some aberrant spinos or ravagers with anti rad food since I can't remember if they're immune or not to it and work your way down. There is an easy access entrance for ground dinos, ravagers you can just make zip lines all the way down, I used to do it that way. Or you can bring a karkinos down since they have a crap ton of health and weight and you can just use their leap mechanic to get out.

That's just if you want to get to the surface, if you just want to access the rad zone terminal (which is also the boss summon terminal) you can just take the same said dinos straight down to it. Just make sure to have a light pet in case you have to fight a king/queen down there and the nameless.

They can simply enter creative mode and make the transmitter outright(and anything else) out right.

If that's the case why not just avoid aberration altogether and spawn the skins.

Or use a mod to unlock all the achievements with all the skins. They dont even need to use the mod in their single player game, just join a server that uses such(though they'll have to download the mod to play the server), use on the server then never enable on their single player game.

If the OP is really into skins, there are tons of mods with all sorts of skins for armor weapons etc as well as actual different looking armor weapons etc.

Only caveat is to make sure that if you use mods in your single player game that they're relatively current/uptodate with little to no serious issues. Read the workshop page for such information for the mod.
