Every single mod in the workshop has a "last updated" note on it.
That end of things is 100% user discretion.
some new server owners, who have never run a server before, will add mods from 2016, which arent really compatible anymore, might cause crashing etc etc, but the user will blame the hosting service before looking at the mod itself. Hence the warning.
I ran a g-portal server for about a year before switching to a personal LAN server. Mods updates were 30 mins to a hour after the workshop updated.
I was talking to the OP :)
@kitsuneShiro, if the servers are hosted in ny, its instantaneous... and yes you ahve to wait a bit for the rest to update, but its far easier and faster than uploading via ftp like we used to do. Especially for admins like me, who live in australia and host in la.
