Aberration Item Transfers & Fertilized Eggs (Official Servers)
In a PC Patch earlier today, item transfers were enabled on Aberration. This had been a topic of discussion for the community and the development team for quite some time. We had come to the conclusion that item transfers onto Aberration will be permitted on our Official Network. One of our team goals for this year has been working on improvements to our deployment pipelines to ensure things run smoother going forward. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm got the best of us and this change accidentally slipped through the cracks too soon. We apologize for that. Additionally, an unintended mechanic existed which allowed players to bring over fertilized eggs which were not native to the Aberration map. We have redeployed a change which will prevent this in the future by automatically deleting any non-native fertilized eggs which are brought over, as well as destroy any non-native creatures/fertilized eggs that currently exist on Aberration. We understand that this news will come as a disappointment to some, but know that we examined all available options and ultimately decided that this would be the best step to take. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience or loss suffered from this change.

To be clear, any fertilized eggs which are not native to Aberration will be deleted upon transfer. So please do not attempt to transfer your non-native fertilized eggs to Aberration and the item transferring will remain active.

We will be redeploying our Official PC Servers with version 278.66 which will have these changes. Our scheduled deployment is set for 15 minutes from now, at 20:40 EST (03/07).

Or you could just make it so all non native to Aberration dinos can't be tamed. So you bring over as many ferg egg as you want but when you hatch it, it just runs around unclaimable if they are not from Aberration.

Unoffical servers who have allowed item transfer for months did it this way, when we asked you for a server setting to stop non-native fertilized eggs to Aberration and got nothing. So we did it with the disable taming settings instead.

So is there now a new setting server setting to stop non-native fertilized eggs for unoffical servers?

you ♥♥♥♥ed abberation.. G ♥♥♥♥ing G.. change it back before the riots happen!
Will this affect the new servers or will they be no transfers on day one?
PLEASE.. NEVER EVER allow dino transfer to AB from non AB servers.. Our island server has been capped since VDay due to people using it as a storage.. as well as many other servers.. It is NICE to be on AB and things are strictly AB stuff..
Out of every possible option we chose the one you're not going to want to hear the most as being the best coarse of action. When the devs be trolling it is brutal.

What are you even talking about?

I honestly don't think they will allow it which is nice because it keeps things fresh.

Yes, what are you talking about???
So are you also gonna delete Aberration stuff uploaded to other servers, being used to raid non aberration servers? ^^ The situation we're facing right now is exactly the same we had with SE back in the day. We can't fight back and aberration tribes are laughing their asses off.

YOU wanted X-Server transfers to happen - nobody wanted it back then. So let them happen, don't half♥♥♥♥♥it and see what happens to your precious balance when your aberration servers are being wiped one after the other, just like SE was. Turn them off or leave them on, embrace the broken X-Transfer system or shut it the hell down, but for once in the development cycle of this game, make a decision please...

This would be useful information...

Is this non-native wipe just for official or will it affect all aberration servers and clients? A good number of solo players and unnoficials had turned on the ability to download all dinos, does the setting keep those servers and client worlds safe from non-native wiping?

It's cool to enable transfer onto but it will breaks many aspect of aberation with the flyers, i think you should add a big debuff to flyers when they are on aberation, or all climbing and verticality mecanics will be broken and rock drakes eggs will just be to easy to farm.

If something is done against flyers it's a good news, if not, you will just broke this dlc.
