About the Megalosaurus
It's shocking to me that the devs would make the Megalosaurus such an OP dinosaur. It is almost if not as strong as rex which is soooo dumb considering the sizes and actual facts about the dinosaurs. Before you say that it sucks in the morning which balances it out, no it does not. It can easily kill allos in the morning while having more than half health left and only using up tiny bit of it's sleep debt. Furthermore, it's a ridiculously easy tame as even a starting player can knock it down in the morning. This tame makes every other carnivore except the rex and the giga useless and I really hope this is just a mistake and the devs will fix this nonsense! (sorry for bad english)

Well give at least a reason why.

Imho the Megalosaurus needs tweaking if they want to keep it in the game, but AFAIK it would be better to make each Dino more distinct from each other.
For example buff the Carnos charge attack so it will have something special.

This will most likely come when they do the TLC pass on the older animals in the game.

I agree, they need to work on their old dinos and make them more useful, because half of dinosaurs in ark have absolutely no use, for example the carnos, turtles, sarco, rex, trike, parasaur etc.

Word. Although the turtles are good for pvp tanks... But I don't think that's the use the devs had in mind XD

I think the megalosaurus was supposed to be bigger, but they had to scale the size down so it would spawn in caves, hence why it has so much health and damage. Or it might be the fact it can only be used at night.

delete thread, allo fanboys only complain and no actual points, much like rex fanboys

First of all, megalo should have been larger, and allo smaller, allo can deal with titanosaurus effortlessly, and will work on bosses

Megalo has a... 15 minutes? Half hour? Of superboost, and during dayfight, they will fall asleep

That's not a big deal, expecially because it is not stronger than rex, not stronger than giga

Sure, it's way more powerful than carno, but then, complain about allo? Won't you?

Sure, you can take down a couple of Allos without it needing sleep, but who wants to let their mount sleep after every single small battle?
This animal is far from OP. It's a fun nice night time mount, but it doesn't break balance in any way :/

How drunk are you exactly? 1500 damage per stomp from the Titan. Allos won't last against a Titan :P
I don't see the problem with that? It's a level 70 tame while rex is a lvl 60 and allo/carno are lvl 50. Some animals later on just completely beat the earlier level ones no problem, that just happens. For example, you get a raptor, but 10 levels later you're now fully capable of getting terror birds and dire wolves, both are way better than a raptorin every single way with almost no drawbacks.

party dino is megalocheez goes to sleep at wakes up 22:24 goes to sleep at 5 in the morning lol

Easier answer is easy, but have ALL dinos need to sleep now, and make the Megalo the main nocturnal predator.

That's some insane stats on those alloses though. I'm assuming it's not vanilla settings or am I wrong? I would never dare try that with my poor alloses as they would turn end up as bloody stains underneath the titan's feet.

they probably are, but those are probably after ages of breeding and such, which is not an accurate respresentation on allos as a whole
