Ragnarok way flyer dependant?
From what I ve seen in the map you need to get a flyer to get around the cliffs and it s not really possible to get around on the map with a land dino. Any large spaces that you can reach with dinos easily so I can build my dinosaur garage?

Don't know any places for a Dino garage but you can build one in a forest I guess I don't know how many there are in Ragnarok and you can also use thylas/megalanias to get up if that's your purpose

I want to know an area that s easily accesible by ground dinos so I can tame them and transport them there since my base is somewhere up and I don t think you can reach it by ground.

35/85 ish unless it has been built on it puts you on the beach close but not too close to the wyvern trench ...... i put a 50x50 base there and can walk stuff in easily personally I prefer fliers anyhow but you can't lift everything!

And the Rag Devs made the map not flyer dependant. They have stated this over and over again. The have made various places on the map with advantages and disadvantages in building and having certain tames. There is also alot of flat land for those of you that have to have every single dino out there also. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1135879919 Once you familiarize yourself with the map you will understand.

Ragnarok is very land dino friendly. some paths may be blocked by some resources and some paths may take a few turns and twist but you can get up on any mountain with a land dino as far as i've seen. only needed a flier or glider to get on top of the rocky pillars in the canyon to get some crystal and an artifact.

I see. So where would you suggest would be a good dino garage close to most of the necessary tames to have(rexes for bosses, bronto, and other dinos used to gather resources)?

Since Ragnarok is set-up to not have needed resources( metal crystal obsidian pearls oil) localized to one area on the map, the choice is up to the player on where they want to build their "garage".

That is one thing I really like about Rag, everything is spread out all over the map.

Well.. except Organic Polymer from the Pengus.

Walked from the green obelisk to the red on a giga, had no problems getting up cliffs and whatnot. Still would not recommend a land animal for long distance outings due to the stupid amount of time it takes to cross rag ;D

At issue also are players fencing off acces along the beaches that dinos can use.
Its a long ass walk around to get from a small spot because people dont learn or care about others..

A lot and i mean a lot of flat areas are covered up by resources such as trees and rocks and plants. west of the green obilisk is a big flat open area. you got a small redwoods to the east, rivers to the south, small forest to the west and north. also in the south west is a flat area covered by an entire small forest. there's a little pond in infront of a cliff with a island right before you hit the barrier to the unfinished desert area. by the swamp castle to the north right before the volcano is a giant flat mountain but again it's covered up by resources so it doesn't appear flat. and to the south west of that very same castle is another flat area covered up by resources. mainly trees and rocks and metal. i suggest two areas specifically.

First is this area right here: http://ragnarokmap.wikia.com/wiki/Flatlands (this is the area im talking about with the swamp castle.

21 21 has a cavern that's pretty big and has an entrance for land, sea and air dinos. Good resources too
