How to Unlock all Hair Styles

I've noticed there isn't really a guide telling you what hairstyles you can get or how to get them... So here it is. It shouldn't be this convoluted to be beautiful.

I'll include how to get the trophy as well as some cheats you can use to achieve them if you choose to go that route.

You will want to make a singleplayer game on The Island since a few of these can't be achieved on any other map.

If you're going to use the cheats route, use the cheat below before beginning:
cheat LeaveMeAlone

Gamme/Beta/Alpha Ascention

For the three Ascention Achievements below, you can teleport to the Tek cave to unlock the door by using this code:
cheat setplayerpos -87200 -55200 33600

Then after you put in the items needed for each ascention and you've walked into the tekcave, use the code below to teleport you to the Ascention Panel:
cheat setplayerpos -116800 -96000 -7200

Credits will role, click End or wait, you will then be in arks main menu, just openup your single player again and download your character. Rinse and repeat.

Mohawk, Moustache

Gamma Ascention - Requires that you beat all three bosses at Gamma Level, go to the volcanos Tek Cave Entrance, and get to the end of the cave to accend to Gamma.
You can use the code below to summon all the items you'll need to unlock the ascention.

Ponytail, Mutton Chops

Artifact Archaeologist - You need to collect all the artifacts from the artifact crates.
You can use the explorer map to find all of these:

Romantic, Romantic Beard

Map Maker - Complete most of the arm minimap. Choose your poison, open your map, and just run around until most of the map is completed. The Wiki says it needs to be 80%, but it seems more like 95%.. Aim for 100% and keep an eye out fo the reward.

Braids, Curly Beard

Maximum Survivor - Reach maximum survivor level before ascention. So get to level 100. This cheat should do the trick if you want to do this quickly:
cheat AddExperience 10000000000 0 0

Viking, Viking Beard

Perfect Explorer - Collect all the explorer Notes on the Ark.
You can either use this wikis explorermap and travel to all of them:

Or just use a mod. I use this mod for my single player to unlock all that one that unlocks both all hair styles and the emotes.
Doesn't matter what map I load, works all the time.

It is idiotic that the default game locks these away as people generally prefer to
have hairstyle options especially online if doing a roleplay orieneted server.

P.S. I use glasses and other skin options for helmets so my characters hair can blow free.

Sorry for necroing this, but it's relevant to me right now. I cheated in the hairstyles and learned them on Ragnarok (last time I did it, it was on the Olympus map), so I know you don't have to be on The Island to learn them. My issue is that I tried to learn them on my boyfriend's account, so he could cut his own hair while I'm offline, but it won't let him "eat," or use the items that spawned in. Even though, moments before, it worked just fine for my character. Any idea why?

The items should work easily enough for anyone, either way, they are incredibly easy to craft.

No, I cheated them in with the wiki spawn commands. They worked when I used E in my inventory on the items to learn the styles. But when I gave them to my boyfriend's character (I've been using him to farm hair, he doesn't really even play), his character couldn't learn them. I know he doesn't have them learned already, because I'm the one with 4k hours not him x.x

You can skip a few steps with the ascensions and just use these commands now (since the console no longer starts end credits and takes you to another fight)

I have not tried this again since posting it. But gathering all the artifacts from the island is enough.
