The way I've been thinking is that the more health just means more survivablity. We've got 100 armor saddles for the rexes so that gives them even more survivablity.
Only thing I'm worried about is not being able to kill the bosses in time if the damage isn't high enough.
Killing the ape up to medium should be no problem with some 600-700dmg rex with arround 30-45k hp
Killing the broodmother on hard is kind of a coinflip, since you have to make it stuck with a high hp rex, then unleash your high dmg beasts on it, but if it gets free... couple of hits and your day can be called ruined...
Broodmother is the only one that is very time critical, if you are not sure if you can do it, setup a server on your pc and practice (dont do in sp, they have lower stats there)
btw. 15k hp isnt a lot, our rex are 12k hp right after hatching, then imprint plus some lvls and you can have a 70k rex easy...
We killed the Center Bosses yesterday (afaik they are easy difficulty, but they come together, a monkey and a brootmother), we brough 20 rexes, 30-40K HP and 300+ damage.
All the rexes survived, but lots of them just had 1-2K HP left, and thats because they had mastercraft saddles.
Even ifyou wont ride the rexes in the battle, make sure you saddle them ALL, with the best possible quality saddle.
Aha, sure, and how did you taught your rexes to fly????
The dragon on hard is not killable by stucking anymore.
So basically your rex had to learn how to fly or teleport to follow the movement of the dragon without getting stuck every 2 steps.
The stats you mentioned sound good for ape and brood, but the dragon? No way. At least not the current version of it.
How did you get 12k? Lucky mutations or a lucky roll for the post-tame bonus levels?
Our top HP we've gotten is 10k.

150 Max Levels are what I'm dealing with. Not sure about everyone else.
